Poplar, Mahogany stained
Various sizes

In response to a live brief with British design and manufacturing company Very Good & Proper,
the ‘Homeware Island’ offers a collection of objects designed to provide a sensory experience,
both visually and aromatically. These objects are crafted from Poplar blocks and resemble the forms
seen in brutalist architecture like the Barbican Centre in London, England. When you observe the smoke
waft and twist, feel the warmth of the burners, and inhale the fragrance, it creates a complete and meditative
experience.
